CARL STENT
Carl is the National Manager Safety & Wellbeing for Fulton Hogan Ltd. He is based in Christchurch and is responsible for risk management of ACC, Occupational Health and Safety and Employee Wellbeing including insurable risk associated with employee benefits. Ancillary to the role is being part of Australian operations in the area of workers compensation and occupational health and safety. Fulton Hogan currently operates in all States on the Eastern seaboard of Australia.
Reporting to the role are 30 plus safety and wellbeing professionals spread across 17 regional businesses. Most of the safety professionals have direct reporting lines in the Regions.
Fulton Hogan has 4200 employees 90% of which are permanent full time. There are another 1000 in Australia.

CAROLE PETERSON
Carole Peterson is the Wellness & Injury Manager at Canterbury District Health Board. Her areas of responsibility include managing the wellness strategy and the Accredited Employer Programme that the CDHB has been part of for 6 years. CDHB have recently changed from using a TPA to self-managing their programme utilising the Recovery Assist claim management software. Carole has been involved with injury management for over 15 years and has a comprehensive knowledge of claim management and Accredited Employer best practice in her years with CDHB and Spotless Services. Carole was a founding member of the Association and after a break for a year as Secretary of the Association has taken on this role once again. MIKE RUTHERFORD
Mike is the National manager of Health + Safety/ Training/ACC for the Silverfernfarms group. He is based in Christchurch and has overall responsibility for the training, injury management and wellbeing of over 8000 employee’s. SFF has been in the partnership program since 2000 and utilise the FSC option and fully self manage.
